It’s a little late, but here it is: a recap of Week 3.
And boy, what a week.
So just to start off, maybe I should just tell you what grade Les Miserables earned last week. It was an F. A big, fat F.
Because everyone sucked.
Let’s start with our quarterbacks. Roethlisberger barely scratched ten points while Stafford, who was benched last week, got 27 points.
And then our running backs. Our running backs got 7.4 points, while my opponent’s running backs combined for fifty. Ryan Mathews got -0.50 points. He got negative points. And Darren Sproles? The running back we left on the bench? He scored 18 points.
So overall, a bad week following one of the best I’ve ever had. But that’s okay, right? Because my team can always bounce back from that, right?
Wrong. Because out of 13 players on my team, four of them are marked as ‘questionable’, and three of those are starters. And that’s not counting the fact that earlier on this week, we had to drop some already injured players so that our team could have the appearance of being healthy.
So all in all, not the best week football-wise. Currently, I’m wondering if I shouldn’t put Stafford in for Roethlisberger, which, considering Roethlisberger’s terrible week last week compared to Stafford’s good week, is tempting. But on the other hand, if I put Stafford in, you know Roethlisberger’s going to have a phenomenal week. So there’s really no winning.
